(( Practice practice practice. That’s the only way skill is really cultivated. Don’t be scared to try new things when you draw, even if it doesn’t look so great. Eventually, the more you try at drawing it, it will. References are scary as hell because they’re hard to perfectly match, but they’re really useful as well.
Also, watch people. Watch them hard. You’ll be amazed at the different facial expressions and body language that many do. (Especially once they catch you staring at them.) ))
